Roborock Saros Z70

Overview

Saros Z70 is the robot with the arm: a five-axis OmniGrip gripper folds out of the body, picks up small obstacles, and lets the clean continue.

The body is 7.98 cm tall, suction is rated at 22,000 Pa HyperForce, and Dock 4.0 empties, washes and dries the mops.

How it works

StarSight Autonomous System 2.0 maps the home. AdaptiLift raises the chassis over thresholds. The arm folds away when it is not picking something up.

The dual anti-tangle system is there for hair. Suction is rated at 22,000 Pa HyperForce.

Use

Homes that leave shoes, toys and cables on the floor.

Open-plan living with hard floors and rugs.

Surfaces

Hard floors and rugs. Lift the mop behaviour for rooms you want kept dry.

Battery and power

Runs from its own battery and returns to the dock to recharge. Wi-Fi is 2.4 GHz.

App and remote

Control is by the Roborock app and voice assistants. The robot uses 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, not 5 GHz.

In the box

Robot with OmniGrip arm, multi-functional dock, and the charging lead for the dock.

Setup

Place the dock on a hard floor with clear space in front. Join the 2.4 GHz network and send the robot on a first map.

Care

Empty the dock bag when the app asks. Keep the arm clear of tangled cord. Replace brushes and the filter on the schedule in the app.
