The rope is not optional decoration

These robots stay on the glass by suction. A power cut, a cracked pane or a failed seal can release that suction. A safety rope anchored to something solid is the mechanical backup.

A backup battery that holds for 20 or 30 minutes is an alarm window, not permission to skip the rope. Start on the ground floor. Do not use a robot on cracked, frosted or heavily framed glass unless that exact model’s manual allows it.
